He and Clare Vogel were married on April 7, 1977, at Faith Lutheran Church in Punta Gorda, FL. Bob had two children, Robert and Jennifer. He also loved cars and was a member of the Nash Antique Car Club. Bob and Clare had a seasonal campsite at Sun Retreats in Fond du Lac for many years and Bob loved spending time there. He also looked forward to a good game of sheepshead with his family. Bob was also a member of Cedar Skiers, Immortals Motorcycle Club (Past President), and St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Bob was a devoted husband to Clare; loving dad of Robert (Linda) Jeffery III and Jennifer (Shane) Wegner; and proud grandpa of Alex, Bryanna, Robert IV, Brayden, Zoey, Aubri, and Phoenix, as well as three great-grandchildren. He was the dear brother of Jean (Chris) Wrightsman and fond brother-in-law of Franceen (Wayne) Bowe, Ken Vogel, Jean (Jerry) Schleis, JoAnne (Chuck) Kiehn, Mary (Bob) Miller, Dori (Jim) Behnke, Mike Vogel, Dick (Bonnie) Vogel, and Dan (Debbie) Vogel.
