Robert M. Reimers, age 87, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life with his Lord Jesus Christ, his Savior, on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Bob was born on October 5, 1929 in Oakland, CA. He was the son of the late James and Isabell Russell Reimers. Bob served his country with the United States Air Force at Travis Air Base in Fairfield, CA for four years. After his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Bob was employed with the Bechtel Corporation as a project engineer traveling around the world. On December 6, 1952 he married Peggy L. Scruggs in Sacramento, CA. Bob was a member of Faith Church in Manitowoc.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years: Peggy; one son and daughter-in-law: Scott and Sally Reimers, Sheboygan; two grandsons: Brandon (Jenny) Reimers and Justin Reimers; one great granddaughter: Alexis Reimers; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Faith Church, 2201 South 42nd Street, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Rev. Jeremy Vance. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
