Obituary

Robert C. Schuette, age 38, of 928 North 21st Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Sunday afternoon while following his passion of off-road bicycle racing. He died at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Rob was born October 12, 1973 in Manitowoc. He was the son of Robert G. and Clare Junk Schuette. Rob attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1992. He then enlisted in the United States Army and served his country for four years until his honorable discharge in 1996. Rob then returned to Manitowoc and became employed with Eck Foundry for the next four years. He then started his own business in Manitowoc known as RCS Painting and Staining. In 2009 Rob became a certified home inspector with his brother Matt's business, Pro View Incorporated located also in Manitowoc. It was at that time the two brothers joined businesses and worked together until the present time. Rob was a member of bicycle clubs Heavy Pedal and Broken Spoke. He enjoyed racing in the Wisconsin Off-Road Series attending races held throughout the state of Wisconsin. Rob was a member of the SAIL organization, Wisconsin Association of Realtors and the Manitowoc Home Builders Association.

He is survived by his son: Zackery Schuette, Manitowoc; his father and mother: Robert G. and Clare Schuette, Manitowoc; his maternal grandmother: Florence Junk, Manitowoc; the love of his life: Brooke Luebke, Manitowoc; sister and brother-in-law: Sara Schuette and her husband Jeff Mancheski, Francis Creek; brother and sister-in-law: Matthew and Tonya Schuette, Manitowoc; niece: Olivia Mancheski; godson: Brett Schuette, Manitowoc; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and his paternal grandparents.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m., August 30, 2012 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Vanden Heuvel will officiate. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Military rites will be accorded by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Otto Oas Post #659 at the funeral home following the memorial services. After the services are concluded there will be a Life Celebration Social for family and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at 7:00. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be directed to a memorial fund being established in Rob's name.

Rob was a generous and caring person his entire lifetime which continues to live on with the organ donations provided to help those in need for a better life.
