Ronald J. Felber, age 70, a rural Valders resident, passed away Thursday evening, July 6, 2017 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.
Ron was born on December 31, 1946 in Manitowoc. He was the son of the late Clarence and Marguerite Novack Felber. Ron was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1966. He entered the United States Army and served his country from 1967 until the time of his honorable discharge in 1969. He then returned to Manitowoc and became employed with Mirro Aluminum. From 1986 until 2000 Ron and his wife Carol owned and operated Felber's Janitorial and Maid Service. On July 15, 1972 he married Carol A. Seidl at Francis Creek. Ron was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses West Congregation since 1974. He loved Bible Study, word search books, baking cookies for family and friends, and taking trips to Door County with his wife Carol once a year.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Carol; two daughters: Jill (Joe) Jonett, Manitowoc; Jodi Mueller, Plymouth; five grandchildren: Ethan and Morgan Mueller; Tyler, Malachi, and Jewelia Jonett; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Marguerite Felber; and two brothers: John and James Felber.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 4915 Hecker Road, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
