Ronald A.
Francisco
October 13, 1948 – December 28, 2025
Ronald A. Francisco, age 77, a resident of Two Rivers, entered eternal life with his wife by his side on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
Ron was born on October 13, 1948, in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, to the late Arnold and Violet (Kroening) Francisco. He graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers with the class of 1966. Ron then enlisted with the United States National Guard. On May 20, 1972, Ron married Linda Schneider at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. Ron had worked his entire career as a truck driver, starting at Two Rivers Transfer at the age of 17. After that he accepted a job at Fore Way Express and worked there for many years before moving on to KDC One / Northern Labs, where he was currently employed.
Ron especially loved games and cards. A part of every day was spent playing Farkle, cribbage, golf, and Spinner with Linda. This always included playful bantering and lots of laughter. When Ron wasn't at the game table you could find him on the living room floor, where the playing continued with his dog, Louie. He would spend more than an hour throwing the ball, wrestling, and watching Louie perform his own made up games. Another huge part of Ron's life was his love for travel. He and Linda purchased their timeshare in 1986 and began travel adventures with their family (never forgetting to pack the games). Ron loved to drive and drove his family across many states and even through Canada. These special trips never ceased but only changed over time as they began inviting their adult children, grandchildren and other family along on the road to making lasting memories. He was also the best travel agent anyone could ever ask for as his love for travel did not end with making his own vacation arrangements. Ron deeply enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include Ron's wife of 53 years, Linda; three daughters, Ronda (Kelly "Cubby") Schmitt, Tami Francisco, and Kari (Christian) Bradley; six grandchildren, June Olson, Joshua Olson, Jarred Francisco, Shaylynn Francisco, Kaci Bradley, and Blake Bradley; brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Larry (Lois) Schneider and Ruth Schneider; also other relatives and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Violet Francisco; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Reuben and Adeline Schneider; and brother-in-law, Dennis Schneider.
In respect with Ron's wishes, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
