Ronald John Leurquin, age 66, a resident of Manitowoc, climbed the stairway to Heaven on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at his residence.
Ron was born on December 5, 1953 in Brown County to the late Joseph "Clifford" and Florence (Wesley) Leurquin. On December 5, 1974, Ron married Linda Morreau at All Saints Catholic Church in Denmark. Ron had worked as a feed mill driver at Valders Coop which later became CP Feeds LLC until his time of illness. He was a hard worker that loved his job and all the people he worked with. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, trips to the casino, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a man with simple needs that was committed to his wife, Linda and was a loving family man.
Survivors include Ron's wife of 45 years, Linda; three children, Mike (B.J.) Leurquin, Two Rivers; Bill (Holly) Leurquin, Two Rivers; and John (Angie) Leurquin, Manitowoc; nine grandchildren, Brandon and his fiancée, Halie, Alex, Chanler, Paige, Steig, Kater, Dustin, Paxton, and Keaton; brother, Fran (Lynn) Leurquin, Wrightstown; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law to include: Bonnie Zeman and her significant other, James Provot, Cate (Mike) Riley, Art (Jan) Morreau, Debbie (Bob) Younk, Lori (Bryan) Endlich, Chris (Jeff) Herlache, John Morreau and his significant other, Mary Opichka, and Barb (Tom) Brautigam; beloved dog, Bear; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Gary Drzdwieski officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the memorial service. Following the memorial service, a reception for family and friends will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
The family requests that in lieu of flowers due to family allergies for memorials in Ron's name.
Ron's family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staff of Aurora at Home Hospice (especially to Jason) for all of the care and compassion they provided to the entire family.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11 th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with arrangements.
