Rosario M. Jimenez, age 91, a resident of the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center, 2021 South Alverno Road, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Monday evening, December 8, 2014 at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Rosario was born November 21, 1923 in Mexico. She was the daughter of the late Pablo and Refugio Gaeta Contreras. On January 21, 1947 she married Luis P. Jimenez in Torre'on, Mexico. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1989.

She is survived by six children: Francisco (Mary) Jimenez, Milwaukee, WI; Luis (Colleen) Jimenez, Milwaukee, WI; Margaret Rodriguez, Chicago, IL; Tina Jimenez, Two Rivers, WI; Amalie "Molly" (Carl) Wardman, Cleveland, WI; Lucina (Jose) Martinez, Milwaukee, WI; two sisters: Guadalupe Contreras, Mexicali, B.C.; Alicia Segura, Guadalajara, Mexico; 24 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Pablo and Refugio Contreras; husband: Luis; one daughter: Dolores Pena; one brother: Gonzalo Contreras; one sister: Andrea Contreras.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Dave Beaudry with burial to follow at Knollwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30.
