Ryan Joseph "Rhino" Riebe, age 25, formerly of Manitowoc, was welcomed home by his savior in Heaven on Friday, December 22, 2017.
He was born in Manitowoc on January 3, 1992, son of Terry and Jean Riebe. Ryan attended Washington Jr. High in Manitowoc where he loved to play football and enjoyed track. He last attended McKinley Academy and Lakeshore Technical College where he was going to pursue his diploma. Ryan also attended Challenge Academy in Ft. McCoy.
Ryan was an avid Packer and Badger fan. He enjoyed family vacations camping and staying in hotels where ever there was water. Some special vacations were in Waupaca, Shawano, Lakewood and Wisconsin Dells. He loved all watersports and fishing, especially with grandpa. Ryan always loved spending time with family at the beach and parks. He loved his sister Shannon and spent lots of time "hanging out". He was very special in her life and she was in his. They always had a special bond.
Ryan is survived by his parents: Terry and Jean Riebe; his very loving sister: Shannon Boyer and her fiancé: David Grottkau; special nieces and nephews: Joseph, Katie, Erika, Alaya, Alina, and twins on the way; he is also survived by his special grandmother: Sherril Riebe. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. Ryan was preceded in death by his very special "grandpa" Don Riebe; Donald and Elaine Brey; special great-grandparents: John and Catherine Moore & Dell and Sophie Riebe
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at Lincoln Park Zoo, Cabin 1 on Saturday, April 28, 2018 beginning at 12:30 PM. A meal will follow. Ryan's family would love all family and friends, supporters, donators, people who helped with the search and anyone who knew our son to join us.
