Sandra Lee Williams (nee Groll) 71 years old, left this earth to go to her heavenly home on October 6th, 2026, at Complete Care, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Sandy was born on December 3rd, 1954, at Holy Family Hospital Manitowoc, to parents Richard and Patricia (Warren) Groll.
When Sandy was 2 years old, she moved to her paternal grandparents home (Clifford and Cecilia Groll). Sandy had a wonderful and loving childhood. Sandy attended Manitowoc schools and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1973.
Shortly after graduation, Sandy joined the United States Army. Her service as a woman Veteran in the US Army gave her great pride. She was stationed in Italy, where she eventually met her future husband, Gary Williams. Gary was also a US Veteran. They were married in Rome, Italy a short time later. After Sandy was discharged from the Army, her and her new husband Gary resided in his hometown of Philadelphia, PA. where they started their life and family.
Sandy's faith was very important to her, and she spoke of the Lord often. Sandy was a loving, kind, and generous woman to everyone she met. She also loved her family deeply.
Sandy loved music from an early age. As she grew up, some of her favorites were Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, the Rolling Stones, and many more.
Sandy was preceded in death by her husband Gary, her parents, grandparents, her uncle, and her In-Laws.
Sandy is survived by 5 children; Gary (La Tanya) Williams Jr, Ericka Williams Booker, Sarai Williams (and partner John Fogerty), Tracee Williams, and Hannah Williams.
