Sandy K. Gonzalez, age 72, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.

Sandy was born on March 12, 1947 in Sparta to the late Art and Sarah (La Rock) Shaw.  She was a homemaker and raised her four children. Sandy enjoyed bonfires, cookouts, and spending time with her family and friends – especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include Sandy's husband, Amador Gonzales; four children, Dave Bishop, Dean Bishop, Denise Dunn, and Dale Bishop; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; five siblings, Randy (Rose) Shaw, Chuck Shaw, Vickie (John) Wieman, Ken Shaw, and Linda Reeves; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Daniel and Deanna Bishop; two brothers, Dennis and Dave Shaw; sister, Debra; sister-in-law, Judy; nephew, Eric; and great grandson, Phoenix Austin.

In respect with Sandy's wishes, a private celebration of her life for her family and friends will be held at a later date.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
