Scott G. Nelson, age 54, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.

Scott was born on June 2, 1966 in Manitowoc to Darla (Maloney) Nelson and the late Russell Nelson.  He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1984.  Scott began his working career as a truck driver at Schneider National. He then continued at Madson Tiling and Excavating, MacGregor Transportation, and was currently employed at Counard Trucking.  Scott was a kind-hearted and generous individual who left a meaningful impression on everyone he would meet.

Survivors include Scott's son, Ian Nelson, Manitowoc; significant other, Heather Nelson, Manitowoc; mother, Darla Nelson, Manitowoc; ex-wife and the mother of his children, Stacy Nelson, Manitowoc; sister, Deb (John) Kaufmann, Whitelaw; brother, Michael (Rebecca) Nelson, Shrewsbury, PA; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Scott was preceded in death by his son, Alex; and father, Russell.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  Cremation will take place at a later date at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
