Shari M. Tech, age 87, a resident at St. Mary's Home at Felician Village in Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at St. Mary's Home.

Shari was born May 3, 1928 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Roland and Violette Sliger Metzger. Shari was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1946. On April 30, 1949 she married William Tech in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1995. Shari was employed for many years at the Manitowoc Equipment Works from where she retired in 1973. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School and served as a custodian of the church with her husband Bill for many years.

She is survived by four children: Dianne (David) Stecker, Newton; Kathy (Tom) Brown, Manitowoc; Lynn (Roger) Patton, Manitowoc; Jeffrey (Cynthia) Tech, Manitowoc; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one sister: Joan Brull, Manitowoc; three nieces along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Roland and Violette Metzger; husband: William Tech; one grandson: Andrew Peltier; and one son-in-law: Jerome Radl.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1501 Marshall Street, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Rev. Judine Duerwaechter with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at St. John's United Church of Christ on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.
