Obituary

Entered God's loving arms with her family by her side on January 31, 2024, at age 80. Shari was born on July 7, 1943, to William and Mary Jane Lalko. She was a graduate of the Lincoln High School Class of 1961 in Manitowoc. She and Lee were married on February 8, 1964 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She passed away just 8 days before their 60th anniversary. Shari was employed at Manitowoc Telephone Company, and then when she and Lee moved to Valders, she worked for the Valders Area School District as a Teacher's Aide until her retirement. She enjoyed weekend golfing with Lee as well as trips and playing cards with her high school friends. Shari and Lee enjoyed their winter trips to Florida and their summer trips to Eagle River. She loved watching her grandkids' sporting events, as well as the Brewers, Bucks, and Packers.

Shari is survived by her husband Lee, her children Jeff (Robin) Evenson and Brett (Holly) Evenson; grandchildren Kailey (special friend Chloe), Josh (special friend Tashana), Jason (special friend Tresa), and Jenna; great-grandchildren Scarlet and Eliana. Dear sister of the late Connie (Ken) Robinson and Kathy (Carl) Wagner; and sister-in-law of Gary (Mary) Evenson. Preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws Wesley and Ruth Evenson, and sister-in-law Carol Evenson. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A private service was held, and officiated by Fr. Richard Klingeisen. Shari was entombed at Calvary Mausoleum.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Harborview Assisted Living and Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for the special care given to Shari this past year.
