Obituary

Sharon Lee (Bergene) Satori, 73, of the town of Liberty, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 8, 2021.

She was born on November 25, 1947 in Manitowoc to the late Albert and Eleanor (Vraney) Bergene.  Sharon grew up in rural Manitowoc County and graduated from Valders High School with the class of 1965.  On July 18, 1970 she married Larry Satori and they started their family, eventually having three sons, Craig, Chris, and Chad.

Sharon worked on the family farm and as a homemaker supporting her family.  She also worked for a time off the farm at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center and the Manitowoc County Hospital as an LPN, Mirro Aluminum Company, and Newell Companies.  She was known for being a fantastic cook and will be remembered for all of her family meals especially around the holidays.  She also took care of the family haircuts!  Sharon loved her family and enjoyed the time spent with her eight grandsons, spoiling them whenever possible, although there was a family joke about not having any granddaughters.  Larry and Sharon enjoyed the times they had at the family cabin fishing and watching the deer.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; sons, Craig (Janel) Satori, Chris (Kelly) Satori, Chad (Anne) Satori; grandsons, Jack, Kenny, Brady, Kyle, Nathan, Elliot, Miles, and Cooper; brothers, Mike Bergene, Randy Bergene, and Ronald Bergene; sisters, Janelle Schisel, Linda (Richard) Menza, Connie Hedler, and Carol Pagels; her family of in-laws, Melvin Satori, Dale (Sharon) Kerstein, John (Susie) Satori, Clyde (Cindy) Satori, Jacqueline Satori, Mary Bergene, and Norman Gill; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Eleanor Bergene; mother and father-in-law, John and Gertrude Satori; brothers, Jerrold Bergene and Keith "Sonny" Bergene; sister, Shirley Bergene; brothers-in-law, Howard Drews Sr., Ron Hedler, Lloyd "Sonny" Lensmeyer Jerry Satori, and Donald Schisel; sisters-in-law, Marlene Gill, Marcia Bergene, Janice Lensmeyer, Jeanne Satori, and Helen Satori; and niece and nephew, Susan (Dimmick) Hornburg and Scott Bergene.
