Shirley A. Duckett, age 71, a Manitowoc resident, entered into eternal life on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Kindred Hearts in Manitowoc.

Shirley was born on July 30, 1939 in Manitowoc to the late Reinhold and Violet Qualman Luebke. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1957. Shirley was employed at Aluminum Specialty, Kelvinator, Service Tech, and The Junque Box in Manitowoc. On May 21, 1975, Shirley married James A. Duckett in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2006. She enjoyed spending her time going to rummage sales and going to casinos with her family.

Survivors include her 3 sons: Richard Mrotek, Todd Mrotek, and Brian Mrotek, all of Manitowoc; 3 grandchildren: Jeremy, Cory, and Erin; 6 sisters: Kim, Sherry, Faye, Donna, Betty, and Laurie; her Siberian Husky friend, Nika; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Jim; and one brother: Robert.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 4:30 P.M. to the time of the funeral service at 5:30 PM. Deacon Paul Kieffer will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
