Sonya Lea Kunesh, age 35, of 444 Pleasant Lane, Whitelaw, WI entered eternal life on Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, Green Bay, WI.

Sonya was born August 27, 1978 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Gregory and Faye Armstrong Peroutka. Sonya attended Mishicot High School and graduated with the class of 1997. She had been employed with Omega Fields in Denmark and most recently at Pavco in Francis Creek. On August 23, 2008 she was married to Terence M. Kunesh at First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Sonya enjoyed woodworking, farming and working on cars with her Dad.

She is survived by her husband: Terry; one daughter: Candi at home; her parents: Gregory and Faye Peroutka, Whitelaw, WI; one brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth and Bev Peroutka, Manitowoc, WI; one sister and brother-in-law: Kari and Mark Plautz, Stevens Point, WI; maternal grandmother: Phyllis Armstrong, Manitowoc, WI; godfather: Richard (Peggy) Armstrong, Manitowoc, WI; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Raymond and Betty Kunesh Sr., Manitowoc, WI; aunts, uncles along with other relatives and friends.

A Life Celebration Social will be held for family and friends on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
