Steve Vesely, age 57, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life while doing what he loved on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Peninsula State Park.

Steve was born on September 9, 1960 in Manitowoc to Raymond Vesely and the late Adeline (Schramm) Vesely.  He attended Lincoln High School.  Steve had owned and operated his family business, Stevie Ray's Tavern, formerly known as The Downrigger.  He was currently employed at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.  In August of 2008, Steve married Jean Derenne in Manitowoc.  He enjoyed listening to music, cheering on the Chicago Cubs and Wisconsin Badgers, camping, riding his motorcycle, and above all, he enjoyed the time he spent with his family.

Survivors include Steve's wife, Jean; daughter, Samantha (John) Hafner, Manitowoc; father, Ray Vesely, Manitowoc; three stepchildren, Ashley Derenne, Manitowoc; Nathan (Sara) Derenne, Francis Creek; and Nicholas Derenne and his significant other McKenzie Scheurell, Manitowoc; granddaughter, Chloe Hafner; five step-grandchildren, Liam Derenne, Owen Derenne, Noah Derenne, Kenidee Derenne, and Owen Beatty; three brothers, Kenny (Mary) Vesely, Manitowoc; Randy (Alyssa) Vesely, Toledo, OH; and Al (Rebecca) Vesely, Albuquerque, NM; also other relatives and friends.  Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Adeline Vesely.

Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  Deacon Rich Bahnaman will officiate with inurnment to take place at Harmony Haven Columbarium in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Following the memorial service, a dinner for family and friends will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.  The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5 p.m.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
