Steven A. Kuehnl, age 65, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.
Steven was born on August 5, 1956 in Manitowoc, WI. He was the son of the late Frank and Leona Hastreiter Kuehnl. Steven graduated from Roncalli High School with the class of 1974 and then continued his education at Lakeshore Technical College. He had been employed as a bus operator (MTA) in Los Angeles, a realtor with Century 21, and for over 17 years he and his wife Rosa owned and operated Tijuana Rose on South 10 th Street in Manitowoc. On February 14, 1989 he married Rosa Villegas in Los Angeles, CA. Steven was a member of the National Rife Association. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, baking, BBQ cooking, bartending at his business where Steven was well known for his perfected "7 shots" margarita, playing his LP collection of Old Classic "Rock n Roll" music, singing, going to concerts especially the "Blues Music Concerts". Steven enjoyed spending time with his wife and son and making memories with his two grandchildren. He always looked forward hearing from his beloved daughter, Leona. Steven enjoyed getting together with his large extended family especially on the holidays.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Rosa Elena Kuehnl, Manitowoc, son, Kyle Kuehnl, Manitowoc, daughter, Leona Stephanie Kuehnl, Los Angeles, CA; two grandchildren, Kaedon and Kael Kuehnl both of Manitowoc; six sisters, Janice (Jerry) Keehan, Manitowoc, Karen Carlo, Manitowoc, Mary Beth (Dan) Karbon, Manitowoc, Laurie (Larry) Langley, Manitowoc, Wendy (Porfirio) Ortiz, Menlo Park, CA, Vicki (Kurt) Pegel, Appleton; one brother, James (Debbie) Kuehnl, Manitowoc; sister-in-law, Pam Kuehnl; uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank on October 9, 1989 and Leona Kuehnl on January 28, 2012, sister, Sandy in 2007, brother, David in 2009, an infant brother, Randy Kuehnl in 1962, nephew, Korey Kuehnl in 2001, an infant great nephew, Jacob Cherney in 1998, two brothers-in-law, Charles (Butch) Kaderabek in 2019 and Donald Hall in 1970, and his beloved yellow labrador "Colt".
A celebration of Steven's life will be held privately for the family at a later date. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
