Steven "Steve" Lauson passed away peacefully in Two Rivers, WI at the age of 75 following bouts with lung disease and dementia.

Steve is survived by his Fiancé, Kari Pries and her son Jake; children Steve Jr., Chanda (Craig) Holschbach, and Travis; and grandchildren Landon, Austyn (Carly), Sophia, Chandler, Ashlyn, Sev and Madelyn.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki; parents, Duke and Ann; brother, Randy; sister, Bonnie; and grandchild, Emily.

Steve was born on April 29th, 1948, in Baltimore, Maryland.  He moved to Wisconsin as a child and graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, Class of 1966.  On July 20th, 1968, he married Vicki Schleis in Denmark, WI.  Steve was a fourth-generation automobile dealership owner, building and opening Maritime Ford in 1982, continuing the family business his great grandfather Claus began in 1913.  Steve loved playing golf, riding his Harley, playing cards with his friends, but most of all Steve loved laughter.  He was also a pilot, a proud member of the Elks, and a Packers season ticket holder.

Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and private family services will be held. Steve will be laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com.
