Susan M. Dewane, age 80, a Manitowoc resident, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

She was born May 8, 1942, daughter of the late William and Vivian (Drace) Dewane. Susan attended St. Joseph's Academy in Green Bay, graduating with the class of 1960. She was employed with Lockheed Martin in Washington, D.C./Virginia and Long Beach, California until her retirement in 2002. Susan spent time as a volunteer and docent for several years at National Shrine of St Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmitsburg, MD. She eventually relocated to Manitowoc, WI in 2013. One of Susan's hobbies included gardening.

Susan is survived by one sister: Mary Beth Legg; one niece: Lesli Ann Legg and her children: Kaelyn, Kaili, and Kyle; as well as her beloved Cocker Spaniel: Maggie. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Vivian (Drace) Dewane.

Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and funeral services will be held at a later date.
