Suzanne Fogltanz, age 80, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life late Friday evening, September 25, 2015, at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

Suzanne was born on August 10, 1935 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Benita Mack Slattery. Suzanne was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1953. In past years, Suzanne had been employed at St. Mary's Home. On October 2, 1953 she married Donald E. Fogltanz at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church

She is survived by her husband of 61 years: Donald E. Fogltanz; three children: James Fogltanz and his significant other, Ann Paasch, Manitowoc; Anne-Louise (Jeff) Senglaub, Manitowoc; Donald G. (Mary) Fogltanz, Manitowoc; six grandchildren: Adam Fogltanz, Mikayla Senglaub, Krista Fogltanz, Marissa Senglaub, Nicole Senglaub, and Eric Fogltanz; three great grandchildren: Kenley, Mason and Maxwell Fogltanz; one brother: Robert "Mack" (Anne) Slattery, Manitowoc; special nephew: Dennis (Sandra) Slattery, Ashland, Oregon along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lester and Benita Slattery; one sister: Connie Foerg; and one brother: Louis Slattery.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Grand, 1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Beaudry. Entombment will be at Calvary Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Following the services there will be a luncheon held for relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
