Suzanne C.
Moistner
February 18, 1945 – May 29, 2022
Suzanne C. Moistner, 77, of the town of Manitowoc Rapids, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at her home.
Born to the late Vincent and Agnes (Krizek) Miller, Suzanne attended local schools and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1963. She was employed for 32 years with the Oil-Rite Corporation up until her retirement in 2010. She also owned and operated Exclusively Yours, a cake design and decorating business. Her delicious, one-of-a-kind, hand painted cakes brought joy to many throughout the years.
Sue was a dedicated mother raising three daughters on her own. She worked hard all of her life and always put others first. She was extremely independent and determined. Once Sue set a goal, she was going to achieve it. Sue always embraced gratitude, expressing thanks and appreciation for even the smallest act of kindness and generosity.
Sue's greatest joy in life was her family: her daughters and sons-in-law, her grandchildren and spouses and her great grandchildren. She treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sue always thought of others. She never missed a birthday or special event. A handwritten note always arrived on time. Sue was an avid gardener who took great pride in her beautiful yard, floral and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading, and working on puzzles.
Survivors include her three daughters, Tammy (James) Van Dyke of Green Bay, Kim Moistner-Bartlett (Frank Bartlett) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Sherri (Keith) Koch of Kenosha; grandchildren, Devin and Drew (Stacey) Van Dyke, Nicholas and Carson Bartlett; BritnyLe (Christopher) Gosz, Kassandra (Patrick) Swetlik, Kerrigan and Spencer Koch and great-grandchildren, Vienna, Voltaire, Voryn, and Valencia Gosz; brothers and sisters, Vincent (Sandy) Miller of Manitowoc, Larry (Donna) Miller of Manitowoc, Mike (Gail) Miller of Whitelaw, Tom (Terry) Miller of Two Rivers, Myron (Judy) Miller of Whitelaw, and Sheila Miller of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Janet Miller of DePere; brother-in-law, Robert Kortens; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Miller; her sister, Sandy Kortens; parents, Vincent and Agnes Miller; and two infant sisters.
Sue's life will be celebrated with family and close friends at a private event. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com .
