Sydney Meredith Egger, age 24, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at her residence.
Sydney was born on March 27, 1992 in Manitowoc to Howard Egger and Catherine Weinert Egger. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 2010 and attended UW Manitowoc.
Sydney had a deep love, understanding and connection to both nature and the mystic world. Sydney enjoyed the theater arts where she had a strong presence whenever on stage. Sydney both created origami masterpieces and solved seven-row Rubik's cube effortlessly. She practiced calculus for fun. Sydney enjoyed diverse interests from astrophysics to film-making to alternative music and was knowledgeable in them all. She had a keen intellect and wisdom beyond her years that amazed, encouraged and inspired those around her. Sydney made sure everyone in need – both friends and animals had a roof over their head. She loved her friends and family fiercely.
Sydney lost her battle with depression. She fought long and hard, but in the end this horrific disease won the final battle. She now soars in the Universe she so loved. And those of us still weighted by gravity must figure out how to continue on without her.
