Teresa M. Marker, 68, of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay.

She was born on January 8, 1954 to the late Charles and Ethel (Haselo) Rank in Manitowoc.  Teresa attended local schools while growing up and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1973.  Over the years she worked at Mirro Aluminum, was a cook at Holy Family Convent, and more recently, retired from Rex Clean Inc.  One of Teresa's favorite things was to collect Coca-Cola bears.  Her collection spans a whole room at her home.  She was an animal lover and enjoyed attending concerts around the area and at the Capitol Civic Center.  Teresa traveled the lower 48 states with her late husband, Larry, and enjoyed visiting the national parks.  She was also a member of the Manitowoc Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include her significant other of 20 years, Michael Novak; brother, John Rank; sister-in-law, Jill Rank; cat, Sassy; and all her neighborhood cats that she loved taking care of.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Marker; parents, Charles and Ethel Rank; brothers, Charles Rank and Paul Rank; half-brother, Ronnie Sweetman; dog, Scooter; and cats, Spooky and Lola.

A Life Celebration Social for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, located on the south property of the funeral home.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with private burial at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.  Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com .
