Terry J. Wilhelm, age 27, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at his home.

He was born October 9, 1995 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, son of Jodi Sittman and the late William Wilhelm Jr. Terry attended Lincoln High School, graduating with the class of 2014. He graduated drug court and became Peer Support Certified as well as Recovery Coach Trained. Terry then dedicated his life to helping others with addiction. He did that by working at Lighthouse Recovery Center, Miss Bev's, CORE Treatment Services, and Lotus Transition Recovery Homes. Terry enjoyed fishing, playing cards with his buddies, and was competitive in sports, including softball and volleyball. Above all, he had a big heart and helped many people in the community. Terry also raised his niece and nephew Charli and Carson for the passed few years, who he cared for and loved like they were his own children. He would do anything for anyone and was willing to give anything to help those in need, no matter the cost. Terry made a big impact in the lives of many people in the addiction recovery community. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Terry is survived by his mother: Jodi Sittman; eight siblings: Michael (Significant other Cindy), Travis, Amber, Ashli, Kyle, Nicole, Mason, and Chloe; his significant other: Madison; his special cousin: Pat; his cat: Smokey; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: William Wilhelm Jr.; maternal grandparents: Charlie and Rita Sittman; paternal grandma: Marilyn Groothoff Wilhelm; two uncles: Bill Sittman and Dale Wilhelm; Cousin: Adam Ducat; his best friends: Alex Schultz and Christopher Yindra; as well as other relatives and friends.

The family will greet relatives and friend from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Connection Church, 1455 North Rapids Road, Manitowoc. A celebration of life service will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the church, officiated by Pastor Chris Gilbert.
