Obituary

Theown E. Dondlinger, age 88, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers, WI.

Theown was born July 17, 1926 in the town of Mosel, Sheboygan County. She was the daughter of the late Norbert and Elsie Grunewald Illig. Theown has been employed in earlier years as a telephone operator and then became employed at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center from where she retired in 1981. On April 20, 1954 she married Norbert N. Dondlinger in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2007. Theown was a member of First Lutheran Church.

She is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law: Alan and Kay Rodewald, Two Rivers, WI; Mark Dondlinger, Green Bay, WI; Jay and Michelle Dondlinger, Manitowoc, WI; Todd Dondlinger, Sheboygan, WI; one daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Karl Baryenbruch, Newton, Wi; 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one sister: Mardell Schuricht, Howards Grove, WI; six sisters-in-law: Beverly Illig, Sheboygan, WI; Dorothy Dondlinger, Manitowoc, WI; Rosella Dondlinger, Minnesota; Carole Dondlinger, California; Mary Mella, Manitowoc, WI; Jean Krentz, Ohio; one brother-in-law: Leo Dondlinger; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Norbert and Elsie Illig; husband: Norbert Dondlinger; daughter: Anne Marie Dondlinger; two sons: Dale and Gary Rodewald; one brother: Carl Illig.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Parish Nurse/Lay Minister Ann Unertl from First Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Knollwood Cemetery, Manitowoc. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00. Following the memorial services a luncheon will be held for family and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, located on the south property of the funeral home.
