Obituary

Thomas J. Franz, age 67, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life of Monday, March 14, 2016 at his residence.

Tom was born on November 18, 1948 in Two Rivers. He was the son of the late Cyril E. and Dolores E. Benzinger Franz. Tom was a graduate of Mishicot High School with the class of 1966. He continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Tom served his country with the United States Navy and was honorably discharge. Tom was employed doing local accounting and tax preparation work. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church where he was involved with the funeral choir and the church finances.

He is survived by two brothers: Michael Franz and special friend, Janet Shaw, Mishicot; John Kay) Franz, Mishicot; two sisters: Linda (Rodney) Wordell, Denmark; Julie (Brad) Thorne, Francis Creek; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Cyril and Dolores Franz.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Road, Two Rivers. Officiating will be Rev. Thomas Reynebeau. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Relatives and friends may call at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m.
