Thomas A. Koppa, age 58, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc.

Tommy was born on November 13, 1954 in Milwaukee to Mary Jane Powalish and the late Frank Koppa Jr. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1974. Tommy was previously employed with Eggers Industries in Two Rivers and finished his working career as a custodian for Manitowoc County. He enjoyed spending his time riding his bicycle, watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks, bowling and playing in a Sunday night dart league, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include Tommy's mother: Mary Jane Koppa, Manitowoc; brother: David Koppa and his fiancée, Lynn, Shakopee, MN; sister: Teresa (Paul) Hillsberg, St. Louis, MO; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Frank Koppa Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial of Tommy's cremated remains will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Two Rivers. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
