Thomas R. Kumbalek, age 69, a resident of Manitowoc, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Tom was born on March 29, 1956 in Manitowoc.  He was the son of the late Richard and Ellen Krueger Kumbalek.  Tom attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1974.  He was an avid reader and spent his time writing poetry, drawing, and listening to his music collection.

He is survived by his sisters, Susan (Timothy) Huebner, Lori (Mark) Volpintesta, and Peggy (Jim) Wright.  He is further survived by nieces and nephews to include, Justin Huebner, Sarah (Andy) Wilson, Dylan (Bri) Volpintesta, Collin (Abbie)  Volpintesta, and Elena Wright, along with other relatives and friends.  Tom was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
