Obituary

Thomas R. Lenzner, age 69, of 14205 Newton Road, Valders, entered eternal life on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, Green Bay.

Tom was born on October 30, 1946 in Antigo, Wisconsin. He was the son of Ilene Johnson Lenzner and the late Robert R. Lenzner. Tom attended Valders High School. He had been employed with Van Der Vaart and Optenburg in Sheboygan followed by employment with RBA Broadwind Industries in Manitowoc from where he retired in 2015. During his working career, Tom passed on a lot of his skills to those who worked with him. He was an honorary member of the Viking Bow and Gun Club of Valders. Tom enjoyed the outdoors with hunting, fishing, and trap shooting. He also enjoyed restoring antique International Harvestor tractors. From his youth to the present time he enjoyed spending time at Pigeon Lake with his family where they enjoyed water skiing and ice fishing. Tom was also known for his love of shaking dice with his friends.

He is survived by three children: Timothy (Cathleen) Lenzner, Manitowoc; Pamela (William) Pitz, Valders; Kara (Mark) Hendley, Binghamton, NY; ten grandchildren: Raven Lee Lenzner; Rayna, Cody, Kendyll, Hailey, Olivia, Julia, Sawyer, Sydney Pitz; and Kayla Jane Badger; two brothers and three sisters: Kathleen (Myron) Hickman, Newton; Steven (Kristine) Lenzner, Valders; Karen (Thomas) Driscoll, Valders; Randall (Linda) Lenzner, Valders; Mary (Randolph) Rosenbauer, Valders; numerous nieces, nephews along with other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Robert Lenzner; an infant daughter: Tammy Ann; and an infant grandson: Jacob Thomas Pitz.

Memorial services will be held 5 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Dave Beaudry. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5 p.m. Following the memorial services a reception and dinner will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Burial of the cremated remains will take place at Knollwood Cemetery at a later date.
