Thomas J. Sturtz, age 74, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Theda Care Regional Medical Center in Neenah.

Tom as born on October 3, 1951 in Manitowoc. He was the son of the late Herman and Rosela Krueger Sturtz. Tom attended Brillion High School and was employed at Lakeside Packing of Manitowoc for 21 years retiring in 2010. On November 26, 1977 he married Barbara Krueger in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on January 30, 2002. He was a member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church.

He is survived by nine children, Theresa-Krueger (Stanley) Junk, AZ, James (Sharlane) Burns, Manitowoc, Mary (John) Hutterer, Francis Creek, Ann Burns, Two Rivers, Alice (Lee) Blahnik, Kellnersville, Elmer (Lorna) Burns, Manitowoc, Thomas (Vicki) Sturtz, Two Rivers, Tina Sturtz and fiancé Ben Barber, Madison, and Brian (Kristin) Kutzleb, Appleton, one brother, two sisters, 21 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Rosela Sturtz, his wife Barbara, daughter, Tammy on December 27, 2010, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026 at First German Ev. Lutheran Church, 1033 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Rev. Jacob Hoff with burial to follow at Knollwood Cemetery, town of Kossuth. Relatives and friends may call at First German Ev. Lutheran Church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.
