Timothy B. Lindloff, age 67, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life unexpectedly on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at his home.
Tim was born on August 28, 1958 in Winona, MN to the late Rev. Norman and Mary (Draeger) Lindloff and entered God’s Kingdom through holy baptism on September 14, 1958. He attended St. John’s Ev. Lutheran School in Neillsville. After graduating from Luther Prep and Northwestern College, both in Watertown, Tim went on to graduate from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon.
He was united in marriage to Cynthia Ruth Unke on August 21, 1983 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. They celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary and were blessed with their daughter, Katie (Seth) Radue, Maribel; and four grandchildren Tim adored: Eliza, Charles, Willa and Greta. Tim is further survived by his brother, Thomas (Sue) Lindloff, Watertown; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Stephanie Lindloff, MN; Tim (Laura) Unke, CA; Lori Unke, MN; and Julie (Scott) Schmudlach, MN; and Tom (Jackie) Unke, NV; also other relatives and friends.
Tim served in the preaching and teaching ministry for 30 years at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Vesta, MN, and Manitowoc Lutheran High School where he served in different positions as pastor, Spanish instruction, Religion Head, Dean of Students, and baseball coach. He especially loved coaching Lancer boy’s basketball!
Tim then worked as coordinator of volunteers at Felician Village and personnel supervisor at Manitowoc Tool and Machine. He retired in August of 2024.
Tim loved spending his time with his grandchildren. He also loved the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks.
Tim’s commitment to his family, faith, and sports teams was evident to all he served. He went to heaven knowing that his sins had been washed clean in the blood of Christ, and he looked forward to joining his parents, in-laws, oldest brother James; brother-in-law Jim, and the whole church triumphant.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, 916 Pine Street, Manitowoc, with Rev. Paul Bowe officiating.
