Timothy C. Schultz, age 41, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life while surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at his residence.
Tim was born on September 21, 1974 in Two Rivers to Thomas and Karen Blank Schultz. He was baptized at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Two Rivers on November 3, 1974 and was confirmed on March 27, 1988. Tim graduated from Manitowoc Lutheran High School with the class of 1992. He completed his education by obtaining his degree to become a diesel mechanic from Northwestern Technical College in Sturgeon Bay in 1993. On June 12, 1999, Tim married Therese Wimmer at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Tim had been employed at Eis Implement, Nelson Truck and Equipment, Crafts Inc., Right Way Application, and Stoer Dairy. He enjoyed spending his time drag racing at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, and also garden tractor pulling with Creekside Pullers in Plymouth and Lakeshore Garden Tractor Pullers. Tim liked farming and was active with 4H throughout grade school and high school. He was an exceptionally active member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church where he served on their school board and volunteered for Pioneers.
Survivors include Tim's wife: Terri; three sons: Christopher, Matthew, and Benjamin; parents: Tom and Karen Schultz, Two Rivers; brother: Nick Schultz, Fremont, NE; sister: Peggy Krizek, Two Rivers; maternal grandmother: Hazel Blank, Manitowoc; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Ken and Kathy Wimmer, Manitowoc; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law to include: Jenny Lehman, Kyle, TX; and Andy (Kim) Wimmer, Nikki (Mike) Koenig, and Tim (Pam) Wimmer, all of Manitowoc; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1033 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Christopher Hoppe and Rev. Benjamin Schaefer will officiate with burial to take place at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. The visitation will continue at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
