Timothy (Tim) James Falat, age 70, of Manitowoc, WI, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, August 10, 2026.

Tim, born in Burlington, IA, was a brilliant, hardworking person, known for his incredible wisdom and clairvoyance in the antique business he practiced around the country. The expertise he exhibited provided the support for his family, which started when he met the love of his life, Julie, at Blackburn College. They lived a wonderful and challenging life together, eventually finding their dream home in a beautiful farmhouse in Two Rivers, WI.

He was always willing to help his friends and family in any way he could. You could often find him around a card table, wielding impressive skills with the deck in just about any game, accompanied, of course, by his unwavering table talk.

He was met at the pearly white gates by his charming father, John; adoring mother, Mary; beloved wife, Julie; and clever nephew, Chad – and they likely wasted no time getting into a game of pinochle together.

Tim is survived by his only daughter, Sarah (Charles); grandchild; loving brother, Jack (Sue); doting sisters Nancy and Kathy; devoted cousins; treasured nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Bob and Gary. A special thanks to Bob, Jack and Sue, and his cousin Patricia and her husband Michael for their extraordinary support during difficult times.

A private family service has been held and Tim was laid to rest at Saint Mary’s Cemetery next to his parents in Burlington.
