Valerie Michelle Schaefer

Valerie Michelle Schaefer was a devoted mother whose greatest joy and proudest accomplishment were her children, Brandon Schaefer and Brianna Schaefer. She loved them fiercely, unconditionally, and dedicated her life to supporting and caring for them.

Valerie had a vibrant, bubbly personality that could light up any room. Her contagious laughter, uplifting spirit, and ability to make others feel welcomed left a lasting impression. Even through life’s challenges, she remained hopeful, resilient, and determined, often finding ways to overcome obstacles and help those around her.

An entrepreneur at heart, Valerie owned and operated an in-home daycare where she went above and beyond for every child and family she served. Through patience, compassion, and nurturing care, she created a warm environment where children felt loved and supported.

She also dreamed of growing her interior design business, Design on a Dime, believing everyone deserved a beautiful and welcoming home regardless of budget.

Valerie found joy in spending time with her children, decorating, discovering beautiful places, visiting Florida, and enjoying good food. She deeply loved and cherished her family, including her mother, Tina Crawford; her father, Jim Crawford; her brother, Jimbo; and her beloved niece, Christina. Though distance and life circumstances sometimes kept them apart, they remained forever in her heart, and she often wished for more opportunities to return home to Florida and spend time with those she loved.

Valerie will be remembered for her generous heart, creativity, strength, and unwavering love. Most of all, she will be remembered as a mother whose love knew no bounds. Her memory will live on through her children, family, and all whose lives she touched.

A Life Celebration will be held in Valerie’s honor on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Nook Micro Venue, 2200 Dickinson Road Unit 9, De Pere, WI 54115.
