Vernon L. Porier, age 77, a resident of Manitowoc passed away March 28, 2021, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.  He was born March 8, 1944.

Vernon married the former Theresa Kimbro on April 25 1987 in Manitowoc, WI.  He was a very hard worker. Vernon worked in the logging industry for many years, as well as other jobs like warehouser, shipyards, Manitowoc Cranes, tinsel factory, Lakeside Foods, and others.  He loved his Green Bay Packers, and he loved to go home, as well as bird watching, working outside, helping his neighbors, and most of all spending time with his family.

Vernon is survived by a step-daughter, Ann Kimbro; two children with Theresa, Crystal (Danny) Bolzenthal and Vern Porier; five grandchildren, Jaden and Scarlett Kimbro, Malachi Johnson, Zachary Kimbro, and Arial Bolzenthal; two sisters-in-law, Laura (Terry) Kattreh, and Pauline Brechlin;  and a nephew and niece, Nathan and Lily Brechlin.

Vernon was preceded in death by his step-son, Joseph Kimbro.  His side of his family is unknown.
