Walter B. Jackson Sr., age 63, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life on Friday, September 27, 2013 with family by his side at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

Walter was born September 18, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of the late Bernard Thompson and Alda Mae Baker Jackson Sr. Walter was a maintenance mechanic with the Chicago Housing Authority in Chicago, IL.

He is survived by six children: Walter (Joy) Jackson Jr., Beaver Dam, WI; Lee (Carol) Jackson, Savannah, GA; Eugene Jackson, Chicago, IL; Tania Jackson, Chicago, IL; Chanel Jackson, Manitowoc, WI; Brianna Jackson, Manitowoc, WI; sixteen grandchildren, two brothers: Bernard Jackson Jr., Fayetteville, SC; Charles Hannah, Chicago, IL; two sisters: Narda Jackson, Madison, WI; Susan Hannah, Indianapolis, IN; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
