Walter C. Jensen, 68, of Manitowoc, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County.

He was born on November 15, 1952 to the late Clifford and Mary Ann (Smith) Jensen in Denmark and was a graduate of Denmark High School in 1970.  After graduation, he attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and Lakeshore Technical College.  He worked for Kohler Company and later at Federal-Mogul Corporation until his retirement.  Walter enjoyed flying radio-controlled airplanes with the Calumet Flyers, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren.  He served his country in the U.S. Navy for four years.

Survivors include daughters, Michelle (Kevin) Braun and Theresa (William) Persick, all of Manitowoc; grandchildren, Katey, Alex, Zachary (Kaylee), Chelsea, Christian, and Elly; great-grandsons, Zachary and Haiden; and another great-grandson due in May; great-granddaughter, Catilyna; brothers and sisters, Dave (Rosie) Jensen, Mary (Phillip) Franz, April (Dan) Kocken, Larry Jensen, and Barb (Jerry) Swift; mother-in-law, Vila Mashl; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob Kallerud, Eric (Andria) Mashl, Darren (Susan) Mashl, Gay Mashl, and Lester Jaeger; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; parents, Clifford and Mary Ann Jensen; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Kallerud and Debbie Jaeger; and brother-in-law, Kevin Mashl.

Cremation has taken place at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc.  A Life Celebration Social will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com .
