Wanda Lea Hannah, age 55, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at her residence with family by her side.
Wanda was born on March 20, 1962 in Manitowoc to Theresa Jagodzinski Woitkovich and the late Leon Woitkovich. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1980. On July 29, 1983, Wanda married John Hannah at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She was employed at Federal Mogul for nearly 36 years. Wanda loved any and all animals – especially her three cats, two birds, and one fish. She treasured and adorned both herself and her home with items collected from past generations. Wanda enjoyed music, going to concerts – Summerfest being her favorite, going to the beach and Cedar Lake with her grandchildren, cruising in her Miata with the top down, making pancakes and poached eggs for her grandchildren, playing Yahtzee on the patio with her husband while enjoying a few cold ones, but above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include Wanda's husband, John, Manitowoc; two children, Troy Hannah and Lydia (Garrett) Wallander, all of Manitowoc; three grandchildren, Gage, Dylan, and Maci; mother, Theresa Woitkovich, Manitowoc; two sisters, Lori Woitkovich and Karen (Kent) Umnus; two brothers, Jon Woitkovich and Ken Woitkovich and his special friend, Shannon, all of Manitowoc; also other relatives and friends. Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Leon Woitkovich; and brother, Clark Woitkovich.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Manitowoc. Following the graveside service, a luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., and also on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
