Wayne A. Junk, age 72, a resident of Manitowoc, formerly of St. Nazianz, entered eternal life on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc.
Wayne was born on November 1, 1948 in Manitowoc to the late Albert and Florence Noworatzky Junk. He graduated from St. Joseph's Brother School in Pulaski with the class of 1965. Wayne had been employed in past years with Manitowoc Disposal, Fiber Spec, and at Bemis Manufacturing until his retirement in 2012. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, cooking, making and canning salsa and tomato juice, and being outdoors. Wayne was a member of the Ant Hill Mob and the Harley Davidson Owner's Group.
Survivors include Wayne's daughter: Trish (David) Klein, Cleveland; two grandsons: Nathan and Matthew Klein, Cleveland; four sisters: Diane (Roger) Lothrop, Clare (Robert) Schuette, Jane (Greg) Schuette, and Lynn (William) Sweetman; three brothers: Stanley (Mary Kay) Junk, Allan (Darlene) Junk, and Paul (Chamaine) Junk; his former wife: Karen Junk; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Florence Junk and his son, Troy.
A private visitation and memorial service for the family will be held on Wednesday afternoon, December 30, 2020 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Entombment of Wayne's cremated remains will be on Thursday at Knollwood Mausoleum.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, N. 11 th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with arrangements.
