William "Bud" A. Pickard, age 72, a Manitowoc resident, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.
Bud was born on May 1, 1939 in Milwaukee to the late Bernard and Harriet Kohl Pickard. He attended school in Two Rivers. On June 30, 1998 Bud married Connie Greenwood in Manitowoc. He was employed with Paragon Electric and Federal Mogul. Bud was a member of the Eagles Club.
Survivors include his wife, Connie; seven children: William (Maria) Pickard, Sobieski; Cynthia (Steve) Bestul, Green Bay; Wayne (Lisa) Pickard, Green Bay; Brian (Tami) Pickard, Green Bay; Brenda (Fred) Holm, Two Rivers; Wayne (Tammy) Greenwood, Manitowoc; and Troy Greenwood, Manitowoc; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers: Bernard (Betty) Pickard and Bruce (Marta) Pickard; three sisters: Virginia (Sylvan) Novak, Marcia (Bernard) Schmidt, and Dawn (Charlie) Sydow; also nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his two special loves: Pookie and Piper. Bud was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Pickard; mother and step father Harriet and Joe Pauze; and two brothers, Michael and John Pickard.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc from 2 pm unitl the time of the memorial service at 4 pm. Deacon Paul Kieffer will officiate.
