William B. Schuh, age 86, a Valders resident, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Shady Lane Assisted Living, Manitowoc.

He was born May 27, 1940, son of the late Joseph and Helen (Fischer) Schuh. Bill attended Valders High School, graduating with the class of 1958. He was an active bowler and bartender at Fenlon’s Bowl in Valders where he met the love of his life, Kathleen Schwartz. They were married on August 17, 1968 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Charlestown. Bill was a skilled carpenter throughout his career and worked at Spancrete until his retirement in 2003. In retirement, Bill found great joy in woodworking, spending cherished time with family and friends, and cheering on his beloved Wisconsin sports teams. He also looked forward to the annual trip to the north woods with his fellow Peaceful Valley Deer Hunters, creating lasting memories and enjoying camaraderie of good friends and the great outdoors. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Clarks Mills.

Bill is survived by his wife: Kathy Schuh; his three children: Tim (Sara) Schuh, Terry (Colleen) Schuh, and Tanya (Scott) Van Deurzen; grandchildren: Olivia, Rayna, and Simon Schuh; Eric, Greg and Nora Schuh; Max and Isabella Meyer; and Lucas, Spencer, and Isaac Van Deurzen; his sister: Veronica Evenson; his sister-in-law: Karen Schuh; and one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Mike (Monica) Schwartz and Mary Schwartz. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law: Richard Meyer; siblings: Joseph Schuh, Nicholas Schuh, Norbert Schuh, Helen (Milton) Vraney, Dorothy (Ron) Schlaikowski, Georgiana Etringer and Sebestian Schuh; brother-in-law: Gene Evenson; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Anton and Margaret Schwartz; and three brothers-in-law: Tom Schwartz, James Schwartz, and Fred Schwartz, as well as other relatives and friends.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 15 County Road J, Clarks Mills, with Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, a reception will be held at Seven Lakes Golf and Dining, 1420 County Road S, Reedsville. Following services, cremation will occur and Bill will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Clarks Mills, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Bill’s name.
