William Kimball, age 88, a Manitowoc resident, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center.
Bill was born on July 17, 1925 in Bismark, ND to the late Milo and Victoria Neuman Kimball. He had served his country in the United States Army. On November 10, 1973, Bill married Lucille Fruzyna in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on May 9, 2000. Bill was employed with Tecumseh Corporation in New Holstein from where he retired. He was a member of Lakeshore United Methodist Church.
Survivors include Bill's special friend: Joanie Drumm, Manitowoc; step-son: Andrew (Sue) Fruzyna, Manitowoc; two step-daughters: Marie (John) Levenhagen and Barbara (Wayne) Kiel, both of Manitowoc; five step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; special nephew: Russell Kimball; also other relatives and friends. William was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; six brothers, two sisters, and two step-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. Thomas Dunham will officiate with military rites to be accorded by V.F.W. Otto Oas Post 659.
