Willie J. Loberger's Obituary
William "Willie" J. Loberger, age 85, of 4401 Knuell Court, Manitowoc, entered eternal life late Wednesday evening, December 10, 2014 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Willie was born December 21, 1928 in Brown County, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late William and Emma Rasmussen Loberger. Willie had been employed in construction work with Edward Kraemer and Sons located in Plain, WI. For eight years Willie owned and operated Willie's Bar in Larrabbee, WI. On October 25, 1979 he married Jeanelle Skubal at St. John's United Church of Christ in Manitowoc.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years: Jennie; eight children: David (Jackie) Loberger, Larrabbee, WI; John (Karol) Loberger, Manitowoc, WI; Kathy (Jan) Kowalski, Manitowoc, WI; Terri (Jerry) Eells, Mishicot, WI; Sue (Gerry) Winiecki, TN; Bill (Lisa) Loberger, Maribel, WI; Ann (Frank) Caruso, Oregon, WI; Margaret (Rocky) Beckelman, CA; 23 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, one sister: Caroline Leiterman, Wayside, WI; sister-in-law: Dolores Loberger, Green Bay, WI; his special pet companion: Sassie; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Emma Loberger; two brothers and one sister.
Memorial services will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Dave Beaudry. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Wednesday from9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 p.m. Following the funeral services a luncheon will be held for family and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with burial of the cremains to be at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials for a memorial fund being established in Willie's name. Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com.
